The Mech-Max B200 Wheel Drum Wood Chipper — Honda-style 688cc 22HP electric-start engine, 14″×12″ cutting roller, chips branches up to 8″ thick. Towable, with tail lights and a 7-pin plug.
The B200 Wood Chipper is powered by a 22hp 688cc electric start gasoline engine, and equipped with a 36Ah 12V Lead-acid battery.
There are 2 buckles that can be quickly opened for easy cleaning of residual wood chips and blade replacement on one side of the feeding chute. When the feeding chute is open, the gasoline engine will trigger a limit switch and shut down to ensure safety during maintenance.
Similarly, on one side of the discharge chute, there are 2 buckles that can be quickly opened for easy cleaning of residual wood chips and blade replacement. When the discharge chute is open, the gasoline engine will trigger a limit switch and shut down to ensure safety during maintenance.
On the upper side of the feeding chute, there is an emergency stop button, and on the lower side, there is an emergency stop press bar. These can be used to stop the machine at any time in case of an emergency.
The core cutting component of the B200 Wood Chipper is a roller with a diameter of 14″ and a length of 12″. Such a large roller generates impressive inertia, providing maximum cutting force to effortlessly cut branches with a maximum diameter of 8″.
The B200 is equipped with two DOT-approved tubeless tires sized 19*7.00-8, and the wheelbase reaches an impressive 48″, providing enhanced stability when being towed.
The B200 is equipped with tail light, and on one side of the trailer, there is an American seven-pin plug. The plug can be connected to the towing vehicle when being towed, allowing the tail light of B200 to synchronize with the vehicle's braking and turning signals.
When the B200 is being towed, the two 13*5.00-6 tubeless tires need to be folded up. When the B200 is operational, they can be lowered. When the B200 needs to be pushed to a designated work area, the two wheels can be locked to ensure straight-line movement.
The entire discharge chute is stamped and welded together from two molds, providing an aesthetically pleasing design. The discharge chute can be fully opened, allowing for a clearer view of the blade box interior for maintenance and blade replacement. The top of the discharge chute can rotate 360 degrees.

Superb machine. While I’d like the assembly diagrams to be larger and perhaps include strategies for how to do it by yourself, the struggles are worth it. Bought the Honda engine version for smooth power to get through tough slash piles, and MechMaxx delivered on the rest of the machine. No problem whatsoever feeding 4-5″ diameter 30′ long conifers into it — doesn’t bog down, just keeps chewing. No clogs thus far and the directional chute works well and stays in place when you lock it down. Travels great overland to get to where the work is. Buy with confidence.
Reliable, efficient, and easy to operate. Highly recommended.
This chipper makes yard work almost enjoyable. It handles thick branches smoothly and doesn’t struggle under load. The design feels professional-grade, and safety features are well thought out. If you need a reliable wood chipper, the B200 is a solid choice.
Heavy-duty performance in a manageable size. Very satisfied.
Excellent value for the price. Strong, efficient, and well built.
The B200 is a real workhorse. I live on a wooded property and needed something dependable — this chipper delivers. It processes large limbs quickly and doesn’t clog like cheaper models I’ve tried. Maintenance is simple, and it runs consistently every time.
Easy to start and surprisingly powerful. Makes yard cleanup fast and efficient.
This wood chipper exceeded my expectations. I used it on freshly cut branches and older, dry wood, and it handled both without issues. The 8-inch capacity is accurate, and the machine feels well-balanced and safe to operate. A great investment for serious yard work.
After a lot of research, I went with it and it did not disappoint. Assembly was straightforward, and once running, it powered through hardwood branches with ease. The chip output is ideal for mulch, and cleanup is simple. Highly recommend for anyone with a lot of trees.
Great performance and easy to use. Feeds branches smoothly and produces consistent chips. Worth the money.
I’ve owned several chippers over the years, and the 8-inch Wood Chipper B200 is easily one of the best for residential use. It starts quickly, runs smoothly, and chips large branches without bogging down. Build quality feels solid and durable. Perfect for storm debris and routine yard maintenance.
